The cooperation with the Jewish Museum of Rome
Our association, since 2003, collaborates with the Jewish Museum of Rome to organize tour of the area of the former ghetto. In about 3 hours, the students have the opportunity to visit the Museum, and the Great Synagogue.
Then visitors are lead to the Jewish quarter and, during the tour, guides show maps and pictures of the area and its transformations over the centuries.
The visit provides information related to the Jewish culture and the history of Jewish Community of Rome, with the goal of understanding how a cultural group with a long term presence in the Roman territory is fully integrated and, in the same time, keeps its identity.
Lessons of Jewish culture and history
Our association organizes, for schools of all levels and for anyone interested, lessons of Jewish history and culture, with particular reference to the Jewish Community of Rome.
Lessons are taken by experts of the various disciplines (historians, archeologists, scholars of Jewish culture).
The programs will be agreed with teachers and in base of the requests of any group.
Other services
Upon request, members can ask about transport organization (buses, cars, etc.), reservation of hotel or bed and breakfast rooms, booking for restaurants, bag lunches, tickets for museums, exhibitions and archaeological sites.
